Expert Stress Rupture and Creep Rupture Capabilities

The Stress Rupture and Creep Rupture testing technicians at Product Evaluation Systems, Inc.  have the expertise and capabilities to perform a number of stress rupture and creep rupture tests to ASTM E139 and E292 specifications, including: 

  • Creep analysis
  • Thermal stress analysis
     

In order to perform a range of stress rupture and creep rupture tests, Product Evaluation Systems, Inc. has ten SatecM3 test frames adapted with WinCCS II software and controls. All frames are equipped for stress rupture testing. Four of the frames can also be used for creep rupture tests, which include strain measurements. Product Evaluation Systems, Inc. has the capability to machine and test specimens in accordance with ASTM E139 and E292 specifications.


Equipment
• Satec M3 Test Freames, 6,000 lbs. capacity – 16:1 ratio
• Maximum Temperature – 1,800° F
• Software and Controls – WinCCS II, capable of recording stress/creep   reading and temperature throught the entire test period.
